Custom Fragrance Commissions
This Custom Fragrance Commission is a personalized, collaborative fragrance experience designed to transform your preferences, inspirations, and ideas into a one-of-a-kind perfume created specifically for you.
The Process
Fragrance Consultation
You'll submit a Google Form (link received upon purchase) to detail your ideas, preferences, and dislikes.
Sample Development
I will craft 3 original samples based on your responses. Perfumes will be made with an Alcohol-Free base.
Review
You will receive the 3 samples to test and review, and then select the one you want to be the base for your final fragrance. A Sample Review Google Form link will be provided for you to record your notes when the samples are shipped.
Final Formulation
I will take your notes from the samples and create the final formulation that will be sent to you for a final approval.
Final Fragrance
Once I receive your final approval, I'll prepare your finished bottle in your selected size and ship it off to you.
Important Notes
Timeframe
The entire process can take up to three (3) months to complete - While the final maturation cannot be changed (30 days), all other timing relies on form turnaround time, availability of materials, maturation of samples (3-5 days), formula revisions, and shipping times/delays. I will keep you updated throughout the process and if there are any unexpected delays on my end.
Formula Retainment
The Standard Retained Formula will be kept in my files for up to three (3) years for future re-ordering. For the Formula Release, I will give you the complete breakdown of your final fragrance so you can make it yourself. The Formula Release does not automatically grant commercial manufacturing, resale, licensing, or distribution rights.
Additional Revisions
If you desire further edits to your fragrance past the final formulation stage, each round of new edits will be charged at $25.00 USD + Shipping.
Fragrance Satisfaction
Custom fragrance creation is an interpretive process. Your Request Form provides the creative direction for your fragrance, but the finished fragrance may not smell exactly as you initially imagined. Part of the custom process is allowing your ideas to be translated into a finished composition using the fragrance materials available.
